Regular Season Round 3: Soles - Toros 103-93

An interesting game for Soles (4-4) which hosted in Ojinaga Toros (5-3). Soles managed to get a 10-point victory 103-93. Soles looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized American guard Karim Scott (196-88) contributed with 18 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Raul Olalde (196-96) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Cristian Cortez (185-90) added 16 points and 6 assists in the effort for Toros. Five Soles and four Toros players scored in double figures. Toros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Soles are looking forward to face Dorados in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toros will play against Centauros in Chihuahua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
