Santa Tecla defeated San Salvador at home 99-93. It was a good game for guard Brian Vasquez (190) who led his team to a victory with 48 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Point guard Alejandro Arias (188-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American-Puerto Rican forward Julian Torres (206-97, college: LSUA) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 27 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Roberto Martinez (185-91, college: OLLU) added 25 points and 8 assists in the effort for San Salvador.
