The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Nacional (3-1) in Montevideo on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Olimpia (3-1) 93-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nacional. Olimpia forced 20 Nacional turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Abel Agarbado (179-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with 23 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Manuel Romero (183-92) added 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Nacional. Five Olimpia and four Nacional players scored in double figures. Nacional's coach Leonardo Zylberstein rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpia moved-up to second place, which they share with Nacional and Urunday. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Urunday.
