Regular Season Round 3: Marineras - Escaramuzas 61-84

Another interesting game for Escaramuzas (1-2) which played in Puerto Vallarta against Marineras (0-3). Escaramuzas crushed hosts 84-61. Escaramuzas outrebounded Marineras 42-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American center Jordan Wallace (190, college: Rutgers, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds. Jhoana Moran (157-93) helped adding 21 points. The best for the losing side was Mayra Gil (-3) with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Argentinian guard Candela Foresto (163-99) scored 18 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Escaramuzas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Marineras will play again at home against Escaramuzas and hope to get finally their first victory.
