Regular Season Round 4: Mexcaltecas - Racers 57-61

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Mexcaltecas (3-1) in Tepic on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Racers (1-3) 61-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mexcaltecas. Worth to mention a great performance of Nicole Millender who helped to win the game recording 28 points and Charisse Burruel who added 13 points during the contest. Racers' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Guatemalan Linda Gonzalez (178-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Diana Ramirez scored 14 points. Racers left bottom position moving up to third place. Mexcaltecas at the other side keep the second position with one game lost. Racers are looking forward to face Algodoneras (#4) in Torreon in the next round. Mexcaltecas will play on the road against Barreteras in Zacatecas and are hoping to win this game.
