We should mention about the upset which took place in Fortaleza, where 7th ranked Vivo/Franca (15-15) lost to tenth ranked Fortaleza (13-14) in a road game 69-84. Fortaleza players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Center Thiago Mathias (208-89, college: N.Mexico JC) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and forward Sualisson Da-Silva (203-92) accounted for 21 points. Four Fortaleza players scored in double figures. Fortaleza's coach Alberto Bial allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International forward Lucas Silva (208-95) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Vivo/Franca in the defeat. Fortaleza moved-up to eighth place. Vivo/Franca at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. Fortaleza's next round opponent will be Campo Mourao (#15) at home and are hoping to win another game.
