Everything went according to plan when second ranked Barrio Parque (8-4) outleveled on the road 15th ranked Riachuelo LR (2-11) 78-58 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was guard Lucio Reinaudi (185-95) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Andres Landoni (203-90) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: LBSU) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and Diego Alvarez added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Barrio Parque have a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite that victory Barrio Parque went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Salta Basket and Estudiantes T. Riachuelo LR lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth place with 11 games lost. Barrio Parque will have a break next round. Riachuelo LR will play against Salta Basket (#5) and hope to win that game.
