Very expected game when 6th ranked Salta Basket (8-4) was defeated at home by second ranked Barrio Parque (8-4) 82-75 on Friday. The best player for the winners was point guard Santiago Ferreyra (188-97) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Lucio Reinaudi (185-95) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-0) produced 14 points and 4 assists and swingman Cristian Cardo (198-99) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Salta Basket players scored in double figures. Salta Basket's coach Jose Luis Pisani rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Barrio Parque have a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite that victory Barrio Parque went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Salta Basket and Estudiantes T. Barrio Parque will have a break next round. Salta Basket will play against Riachuelo LR and hope to win that game.
