There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Rivadavia (4-7) was rolled over at home by twelfth ranked Ciclista (4-7) 98-62 on Wednesday. Ciclista outrebounded Rivadavia 44-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. American center Roquez Johnson (201-92, college: MSU) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Maximiliano Tamburini (177-96) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Ciclista's coach Daniel Jaule felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was forward Agustin Mas Delfino (194-97) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and guard Ezequiel Martinez (185-96) scored 15 points. Ciclista moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Rivadavia and Atenas. Ciclista will face higher ranked Racing (#5) in Chivilcoy in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
