Semi-Finals Game 1: Centauros - Soles 83-118
Date: April 16, 2021
Soles stormed past Centauros in the opener. Soles dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Centauros' 42. They outrebounded Centauros 50-39 including a 43-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Soles players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Centauros' players. Naturalized American guard Karim Scott (196-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners and the former international Fabian Jaimes (198-92) chipped in 11 points and 20 rebounds. Five Soles players scored in double figures. At the losing side Cezar Vasquez responded with 20 points and international forward Jonatan Machado (200-93) scored 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
