Soles overcame Centauros to open 2-0 advantage in the series. Strangely Centauros outrebounded Soles 49-37 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. Soles players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Fabian Jaimes (198-92) chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The former international Gabriel Giron (192-88) responded with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Cezar Vasquez scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
