An interesting game took place in where 4th placed Estudiantes T. (9-5) was upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked Riachuelo LR (3-13) 76-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Estudiantes T.. Riachuelo LR had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Leandro Gerez (196-87, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: LBSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Riachuelo LR's coach Fabricio Salas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Diego Peralta (195-94) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Conrado Echevarria (195-98) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Estudiantes T.Riachuelo LR moved-up to fourteenth place. Estudiantes T. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the second position with five games lost. Riachuelo LR's next round opponent will be Independiente (#15) in Santiago del Estero. Estudiantes T. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Villa S.Martin (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
