Leader Aztks delivered the tenth victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Marineras (0-11) 77-48 in Ciudad de Mexico. Aztks dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Marineras' 30. Aztks forced 19 Marineras turnovers and outrebounded them 47-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Marineras' players. It was a quality performance for Anel Tapia who led the winners and scored 6 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-84) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Aztks' coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Mayra Gil (-3) came up with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Joselyne Padilla added 6 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Marineras in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Aztks. Newly promoted Aztks maintains first place with 10-1 record, which they share with Lobas. Marineras lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost.
