Finals Game 3: Soles - Dorados 88-106

Dorados stormed past Soles to earn the first win in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Dorados. Soles managed to win second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Soles 44-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Dorados looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for international guard Jose David Estrada (190-94, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Dorados' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) answered with 24 points and 7 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international Fabian Jaimes (198-92) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Soles. Five Dorados and four Soles players scored in double figures.
