An interesting game for Halcones (8-2) which played road game in against 4th ranked Olmeca (5-4). Second ranked Halcones managed to get a 13-point victory 73-60. Halcones outrebounded Olmeca 55-40 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard David Monterroso (180-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Mario Reyes (-1) who added 19 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Carlos Florian (-93) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Edwin Ruiz scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Halcones keep a position of league leader. Olmeca at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Halcones will play against Club Force (#3) in Guatemala City in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Olmeca will play against Coeindeguasa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
