There was a small surprise when sixth ranked AB Ancud (3-7) beat on the road 4th placed Puerto Montt (3-6) 61-46 on Wednesday. AB Ancud forced 21 Puerto Montt turnovers. Quite impressive performance for the former international center Cristobal Infante (201-88) who helped to win the game recording 4 points and 15 rebounds. Mario Pinto (197-94) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four AB Ancud players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Morris (203, college: UTPB) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (180-89) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Puerto Montt. AB Ancud maintains sixth place with 3-7 record. Loser Puerto Montt dropped to the fifth position with six games lost.
