Regular Season Round 29: San Isidro - Tiro Federal 68-82

Everything could happen in San Francisco at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Tiro Federal and 9th ranked San Isidro had identical 6-9 record. But San Isidro was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Morteros 82-68 on Saturday night. Guard Emiliano Correa (188-91) nailed 27 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Jorge Banegas (190-93, agency: BIG) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. American center Anthony Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Guillermo Aliende (178-97) added 12 points respectively for San Isidro in the defeat. Four Tiro Federal and five San Isidro players scored in double figures. San Isidro's coach Sebastian Torre rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tiro Federal (7-9) moved-up to ninth place. San Isidro at the other side dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Tiro Federal will meet at home higher ranked Barrio Parque (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Isidro will play against Independiente (#15) in Santiago del Estero and hope to secure a win.
