The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Halcones as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Halcones smashed 3rd placed Club Force at home 102-62. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Club Force's 38. They outrebounded Club Force 56-33 including a 41-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Halcones looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Point guard David Monterroso (180-79) stepped up and scored 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners and Mario Reyes (-1) chipped in 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Marcelo Arriola (168-98) responded with 23 points and 8 assists and Cristhian Aday scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Halcones have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Club Force at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost.
