Regular Season Round 18: Marineras - Racers 60-63

Fifth-ranked Marineras (0-18) made lots of trouble for second ranked Racers (10-8) in Puerto Vallarta on Sunday. The visitors from Saltillo managed to secure only three-point victory 63-60. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was Charisse Burruel who scored 22 points. Ana Bernal chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Mayra Gil (-3) who recorded 16 points and 4 assists and Argentinian guard Candela Foresto (163-99) added 18 points respectively. Newly promoted Racers maintains second position with 10-8 record having six points less than leader Lobas. Marineras at the other side still closes the standings with 18 games lost. Racers are looking forward to face Barreteras (#4) in Zacatecas in the next round. Marineras will play at home against Quetzales and hope to get finally their first victory.
