Regular Season Round 14: Halcones - Forza 74-79

The most important game in the last round took place in between second ranked Halcones (9-3) and fifth ranked Forza (6-5) on Friday night. Halcones were defeated by Forza in a tough game at home 74-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Halcones. They outrebounded Halcones 46-35 including 20 on the offensive glass. Naturalized American guard David Goddard (185-89) had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Walter Gasparico (-89) chipped in 16 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Mario Reyes (-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and point guard David Monterroso (180-79) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Forza moved-up to third place, which they share with Club Force and Olmeca. Halcones at the other side keep the second position with three games lost.
