Santa Tecla beat San Salvador to open 2-0 lead in the Finals. Guard Brian Vasquez (190) scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban Lisvan Valdez (196-88) chipped in 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American Chris Blake (195-88, college: Detroit) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Roberto Martinez (185-91, college: OLLU) scored 26 points.
