Very expected game when 6th ranked Henko (2-7) lost on the road to second ranked Los Andes SM (8-1) 67-49. Los Andes SM outrebounded Henko 54-35 including a 39-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Doris Lasso (164-93) stepped up and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Joselyn Lopez (-1) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Los Andes SM's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was the former international Maria Carpio (178-93) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and guard Sthefany Narvaez (168-1) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Los Andes SM. They maintain second place with 8-1 record behind leader La Perla. Henko at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Viejo W..
