Regular Season Round 37: San Isidro - CAO Ceres 61-69

Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Olimpico (9-15) defeated 13th ranked San Isidro (6-13) in San Francisco 69-61 on Monday. Olimpico made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. San Isidro was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for forward Gonzalo Guevara (196-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Alejo Crotti (188-92) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Power forward Juan Cruz Oberto (200-97) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Federico Zezular (198-1) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for San Isidro. San Isidro's coach Sebastian Torre gave the chance to play for eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Olimpico have a solid series of four victories in a row. Despite that victory Olimpico went down to eleventh position due to points difference. San Isidro lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. Olimpico will face higher ranked Ameghino (#6) in Villa Maria in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Isidro will play on the road against Villa S.Martin (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
