The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Echague (18-8) on the court of twelfth ranked Riachuelo LR on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Riachuelo LR 80-73. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Riachuelo LR outrebounded Echague 47-27 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward T.J. Robinson (203-89, college: LBSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. Diego Alvarez contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Riachuelo LR players scored in double figures. Guard Lisandro Ruiz Moreno (185-89) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Martin Chervo (200-92) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Echague. Echague's coach Oscar Bonell rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Riachuelo LR have a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite that victory Riachuelo LR went down to thirteenth position due to points difference. Echague at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost. Riachuelo LR are looking forward to face higher ranked Union SF (#3) in Santa Fe in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Echague will play at home against Salta Basket and is hoping to win this game.
