Regular Season Round 37: Tiro Federal - San Isidro 69-64

Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Tiro Federal (9-14) defeated 13th ranked San Isidro (6-13) in Morteros 69-64 on Tuesday. Tiro Federal made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Quite impressive performance for Jorge Banegas (190-93, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Naturalized Italian Juan Kelly (189-88) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Tomas Ligorria (195-94) answered with 10 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Juan Cruz Oberto (200-97) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for San Isidro. San Isidro's coach Sebastian Torre gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tiro Federal moved-up to tenth place. San Isidro lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Tiro Federal will face higher ranked Dep Norte (#9) in Armstrong in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Isidro will play on the road against Villa S.Martin (#4) in Resistencia and hope to win that game.
