Everything went according to plan when twelfth ranked Riachuelo LR (8-17) beat at home 14th ranked Colon SF (8-15) 93-80 on Thursday. They outrebounded Colon SF 35-20 including a 28-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Riachuelo LR looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Colon SF's players. American forward T.J. Robinson (203-89, college: LBSU) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Diego Alvarez chipped in 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Riachuelo LR players scored in double figures. Riachuelo LR's coach Fabricio Salas used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Ignacio Fernandez (181-89, agency: BIG) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and Agustin Carnovale (192-86) scored 23 points. Despite that victory Riachuelo LR went down to fourteenth position due to points difference.
