Regular Season Round 2: Sacramento - Importadora 59-62

The most exciting game of round 2 in the Liga Desarrollo took place in Quito. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of Sacramento to Importadora 62-59 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was power forward Abraham Barahona (193-3) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Alexaner Guerra (196-96) chipped in 8 points and 18 rebounds. Point guard Alfredo Salgado (-95) produced 28 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Juan Bolanos (-97) added 2 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Importadora is looking forward to face Punto Rojo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sacramento will play against Rincon dC in Babahoyo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
