There was a minor upset in Chivilcoy where 9th ranked Racing (9-10) was rolled over by eleventh ranked Estudiantes O. (9-9) 90-61 on Thursday. Estudiantes O. made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Racing turnovers. Swingman Matias Sesto (190-91) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and point guard Jeremias Sandrini (185-93, agency: BIG) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Estudiantes O. players scored in double figures. Estudiantes O.'s coach Marcelo Macias felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Paraguayan forward Gabriel Peralta (201-95) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Alejo Barrales (174-91) scored 12 points and 7 assists. Estudiantes O. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Loser Racing dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost.
