The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Teclenas (4-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Sivar (2-3). Teclenas smashed Sivar 62-39 on Thursday. They outrebounded Sivar 49-28 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Teclenas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Teclenas made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Yashary Hernandez (170-99) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Andrea Cristales (175-97) accounted for 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Allison Marroquin (167-3) came up with 9 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Alejandra Linares (158-1) added 8 points respectively for Sivar in the defeat. Sivar's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Teclenas maintains fifth place with 4-2 record. Newly promoted Sivar keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Se7en. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
