An interesting game for Estudiantes C. (16-9) which played road game in Bahia Blanca against 3rd ranked Villa Mitre (13-6). Second ranked Estudiantes C. had an easy win 82-57. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Villa Mitre. Villa Mitre was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Federico Grenni (176-92, agency: BIG) scored 33 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Chilean guard Cristopher Jara (-0) chipped in 22 points and 5 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Juan Javier Bollo (203-92) with 9 points and 11 rebounds and forward Leandro Cecchi (200-88) scored 14 points. Villa Mitre's coach Lisandro De Tomasi gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Estudiantes C. maintains second position with 16-9 record having just three points less than leader Dep Viedma. Villa Mitre at the other side dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. Estudiantes C. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Villa Mitre will play at home against Parque Sur (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
