The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Lincoln as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lincoln defeated 3rd placed Bulldogs in San Salvador 66-51. Lincoln forced 19 Bulldogs turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Camila Lima (172-3) who scored 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Amalia Velasquez (160-93) chipped in 17 points. Lincoln's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Melany Sanchez (167-4) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and center Leslie Sermeno (176-97) added 6 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Lincoln (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with San Marcos. Defending champion Bulldogs dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Teclenas. Bulldogs will play next round against Anfy trying to get back on the winning streak. Lincoln will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Usulutan R. at home.
