An interesting game for San Marcos (7-0) which hosted in San Marcos 3rd ranked Salvadorenas (4-2). Top-ranked San Marcos managed to get a 11-point victory 54-43. Center Gladis Maravilla (185-85) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alicia Abarca (165-97) chipped in 6 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Camila Huezo (166-2) responded with 17 points and guard Fatima Tejada (162-5) scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Marcos have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Lincoln. Salvadorenas at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Teclenas. San Marcos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Salvadorenas will play against Anfy (#7) and hope to get back on the winning track.
