Union SF toppled Estudiantes to advance. Union SF outrebounded Estudiantes T. 46-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Gaston Bertona (176-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 assists. International Leonardo Lema (204-98) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Union SF players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Emiliano Lezcano (187-1) with 17 points and Diego Peralta (195-94) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
