Liga Superior top team - Lincoln (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Sivar (3-4) 50-28. Lincoln held Sivar to an opponent 12.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 28.6 percent accuracy of the winners. 24 personal fouls committed by Sivar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Kenia Mena (156-1) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 7 rebounds and forward Alma Guzman (172-87) who added 8 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Lincoln's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Allison Marroquin (167-3) with 7 points and 8 rebounds and Yansi Duarte (168-1) scored 0 points and 12 rebounds. Lincoln have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record, which they share with San Marcos. Newly promoted Sivar keeps the eighth place with four games lost. Lincoln is looking forward to face Teclenas (#5) in Santa Tecla in the next round. Sivar will play on the road against the league's second-placed San Marcos and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
