Rather expected game when 6th ranked Quilicura (3-16) was defeated at home by third ranked Los Leones (10-7) 83-67 on Thursday. Los Leones outrebounded Quilicura 55-29 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was international forward Ignacio Carrion (201-93) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Barham Amor (185-96) chipped in 17 points and 9 assists. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures. Guard Adrian Toro (176-89) produced 16 points and 7 assists and the former international forward Jose Campos (189-80) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Los Leones. They moved-up to second place, which they share with CD Valdivia. Quilicura lost their thirteenth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 16 games lost.
