The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Lincoln as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lincoln defeated 5th ranked Teclenas in San Salvador 60-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Teclenas. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Camila Lima (172-3) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Kenia Mena (156-1) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Yashary Hernandez (170-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and center Andrea Cristales (175-97) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Teclenas. Lincoln (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with San Marcos. Teclenas at the other side keep the fifth place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
