Rather expected game in San Salvador where 8th ranked Sivar (3-7) was defeated by sixth ranked Quequeisque (7-2) 53-42 on Thursday. Quequeisque forced 23 Sivar turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Quequeisque especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was a great evening for Fatima Manzanares (173-99) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. Point guard Daniela Alonso (160-1) helped adding 13 points, 5 assists and 8 steals. The best for the losing side was center Karol Alfaro (168-94) with 6 points and 14 rebounds and center Fatima Castaneda (175-92) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Quequeisque have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Sivar lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Se7en. Quequeisque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sivar will play against L.M.Mons. (#12) and hope to secure a win.
