Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Brasilia: Cerrado (#3) and Brasilia (#9). Cerrado (4-1) crushed visiting Brasilia (1-4) by 20 points 98-78. Cerrado dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Brasilia's 32. Cerrado had a 39-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Robson Junior (178-0) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Center Sergio Conceicao (208-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 21 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Gabriel Santos (185-1) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Felipe Esteves (199-1) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
