Another exciting game was between seventh ranked Teclenas and 6th ranked Anfy where Teclenas (7-3) beat Anfy (6-4) on the road 48-44. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Anfy. Teclenas forced 31 Anfy turnovers. It was a good game for Yashary Hernandez (170-99) who led her team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Sandra Navarrete (172-96) contributed with 6 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Teclenas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Carina Cornejo (200-75) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Karla Candelas (172-88) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Anfy. Teclenas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Salvadorenas. Newly promoted Anfy dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
