Regular Season Round 2: Hebraica - Yale 59-51

Very expected game when Yale lost to Hebraica in Montevideo 51-59 on Saturday. Hebraica forced 29 Yale turnovers. Strangely Yale outrebounded Hebraica 34-20 including 26 on the defensive glass. Guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-1) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Romina Dalesandro (157-3) supported her with 13 points and 5 steals. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by Luciana Chagas (174-2) did not help to save the game for Yale. Guard Sofia Podesta (161-3) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the guests. Yale's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hebraica will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Yale will play against Montevideo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
