Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Se7en (3-8) was rolled over at home by seventh ranked Anfy (7-4) 74-12 on Saturday. Anfy held Se7en to an opponent 11.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Anfy forced 35 Se7en turnovers and outrebounded them 49-35 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Se7en's players. The best player for the winners was naturalized American Emily Tevez (178-93, college: NDN) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 7 steals. Point guard Andrea Garcia (159-98) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds, 16 assists and 8 steals. Tevez is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Gabriela Vargas (156-2) produced 6 points and 8 rebounds and Karla Alas (165-96) added 4 points respectively for the hosts. Anfy moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Quequeisque. Se7en lost their fifth game in a row. Se7en at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Anfy will meet at home league's leader Lincoln in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Se7en will play against Quequeisque (#6) in San Salvador and hope to secure a win.
