The game between Top Four teams took place in Santiago. host Metros defeated Huracanes 106-94. Metros players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Center Eloy Vargas (211-88, college: Kentucky, agency: Duran International) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Brandone Francis (196-94, college: Texas Tech) supported him with 24 points. Even a double-double of 12 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists by American forward William Green (201-91, college: Stetson) did not help to save the game for Huracanes. Naturalized American swingman Luis Jacobo (196-91, college: PFW) added 21 points for the guests. Five Metros and four Huracanes players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Metros will play against Leones in Santo Domingo in the next round. Huracanes will play at home against Caneros and hope to get back on the winning track.
