Very predictable result in San Francisco where Metros (7-1) beat Indios (3-5) 97-85 on Thursday. Metros made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Metros made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American point guard Michael Griffin (183, college: Thomas More) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: EWU) helped adding 22 points and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Four Metros players scored in double figures.
