Regular Season Round 3: Titanes - Reales 87-74

Titanes used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from La Vega 87-74 on Sunday night. Titanes dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Reales' 36. It was a great evening for Luis Montero (203-93, college: South Plains) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Brazilian forward Tulio Da Silva (203-96, college: Missouri St.) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Yerri Flores (188-96, college: High School) with 15 points and Nigerian-American George Williams (198-90, college: WBU) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Titanes will meet at home Leones (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reales will play against Metros (#1) and hope to secure a win.
