Another exciting game was between sixth ranked Leon and 7th ranked Rivas where Leon (2-1) beat Rivas (1-2) on the road 85-79. Leon had a 35-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dominican center Miguel Almonte (211-91) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Cuban Yuniskel Molina (183-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Jabari Price-Martin answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Harold Barberena (179-82) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Rivas. Four Leon and five Rivas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leon moved-up to third place, which they share with Leones MGA and Brumas. Rivas at the other side keep the seventh position with two games lost.
