Third ranked Leones (11-8) crushed at home 6th ranked Atleticos (5-15) by 20 points 109-89, which is the biggest margin this round on Monday night. Leones looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-91, agency: Interperformances) fired 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. American-Bosnian point guard Alex Renfroe (191-86, college: Belmont, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 assists. American Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit) produced a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists and Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Leones and four Atleticos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leones maintains third place with 11-8 record having four points less than leader Bayamon. Loser Atleticos keep the sixth position with 15 games lost. Leones will meet at home league's leader Vaqueros in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atleticos will have a break next round.
