San Marcos outgunned Salvadorenas to advance into the Liga Superior Finals. San Marcos held Salvadorenas to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.3 percent accuracy of the winners. San Marcos forced 20 Salvadorenas turnovers and outrebounded them 56-44 including 22 on the offensive glass. Center Gladis Maravilla (185-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. Alicia Abarca (165-97) contributed with 7 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. San Marcos' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
