Regular Season Round 7: Tipitapa - Leonas 75-63

Tipitapa has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Leonas (2-6) 75-63. Tipitapa forced 19 Leonas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Clenia Salazar who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Mariandrea Samayoa accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Tipitapa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Janis Martinez came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and Ancara Reichele added 22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals respectively for Leonas in the defeat. Tipitapa maintains fifth place with 1-6 record. It was Leonas' third loss in a row. They keep the fourth position with six games lost.
