Regular Season Round 14: Miramar - Lagomar 94-86

There was a change at the Metropolitan leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Lagomar (6-2). They were defeated by twelfth ranked Miramar (2-7) 94-86 on Monday night. Miramar shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. American center Malik Wineglass (203-93, college: Harris-Stowe St.) had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ignacio Morena (183-0) chipped in 10 points, 7 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Naturalized American Reque Newsome (203-81, college: S.Indiana) responded with 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Martin Larrea (188-0) scored 15 points. Five Lagomar players scored in double figures. Miramar maintains twelfth position with 2-7 record. Lagomar at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by L.Borges.
