The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dragones in Panama City on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Correcaminos 61-56. Correcaminos outrebounded Dragones 44-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. International forward Michael Hicks (196-76, college: TAMUCC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Correcaminos' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Joel Munoz (183-80) replied with 10 points and 9 assists and forward Pablo Rivas (198-94, college: NCCU) added 13 points in the effort for Dragones. Correcaminos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
